Timothy Wright is executive chef for Cleveland Metropolitan School District. He has 30 plus years of experience working in multiple culinary settings. He started his work at Quail Hollow Resort and since then has operated extensively in health care, hotels, university dining, private dining, and now, the public school district. He has been a member of the American Culinary Federation for over 30 years and is a Certified Executive Chef with the American Culinary Federation. Chef Tim is also a Certified Dietary Manager with the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals. Chef Tim oversees the culinary operations for 86 schools and over 300 nutrition staff members. He works to create contemporary and fresh menu items utilizing seasonings, herbs, and spices to enhance food flavors and oversees culinary and equipment training including knife skills, farm to school initiatives, cooking demonstrations, and HACCP practices for each school building. Chef Tim believes all scholars should be able to enjoy healthy, great tasting food and his passion is to provide this to the district. (Cleveland, OH)
