Danielle Bock has been championing nutritious food for students as the Director of Nutrition Services for Greeley-Evans School District 6 for the past ten years. She is driven by the belief that access to great-tasting, nutritious food is a fundamental human right. Danielle's mission is to ensure that every child seeking a nutritious meal during the school day can easily access one, served with dignity and a smile.

In addition to being a member of the HKC, Danielle serves on the Executive Committee of the International Food Manufacturers Association’s K-12 Food Leadership Council and the Public Policy and Legislation Committee of the School Nutrition Association (SNA). She was a founding member of the Colorado Blueprint to End Hunger and is an active member of the equity teams for District 6 and SNA. Known for her passion for policy, Danielle enjoys speaking to large audiences about the importance of feeding children in schools.

Among her proudest moments are a visit with Secretary Tom Vilsack and a feature on NBC’s Nightly News with Lester Holt.

Danielle enjoys cooking, reading, and riding bicycles when not working towards food equity in her community.
